Ultra-luxury Shibudai fishing Shun

We took advantage of the ferry boat ``Yukimaru'' to Akime, located in southern Satsuma, aiming for the ``ultra-luxury fish Shibudai.''

The rapid you descend from is “Hitotsuse”, which is close to the rocky shore.
Facing the port, there are rocks scattered in front of you.
The tide flows slowly between them.
The water depth ranges from 9m to 15m with a slight drop.
The terrain makes it easy to attack the bottom when fishing at night.

For makie, we mixed the frozen bait ``sardine slices,'' ``chinu smoke screen,'' which attracts fish with its turbidity, and ``bottom attacking Zudon,'' which attracts fish to the bottom with its specific gravity.

The main bait is "fresh millet" and "raw iki-kun sea shrimp" with a hard shell is used to prevent bait removal.

When I aim for Shibudai, I don't care about Largescale blackfish or Grunt!
Therefore, I use ``sardine slices'' for the groundbait, and large baits such as ``kibinago'' and ``Nama iki-kun sea shrimp'' as the bait.After changing to this style, I have been able to catch Shibudai every time.

Since the fishing spot was falling right from under my feet, this time I decided to aim completely at my feet.

Shortly after we started fishing, we started catching night baits such as “Matsukasa” and “Ojisan”, and the atmosphere gradually started to improve!

Eventually, I started to get into a situation where only the bait was taken every time I used "kibinago", so I decided to change it to "sea shrimp".
Then, a powerful hit immediately occurred!
I got a Shibudai about 35cm long! !
After all, I realized that "sea shrimp" is strong against being taken away.
Then I was fishing with a rotation of yellowtail and sea shrimp...
The line in hand ran vigorously and hit!
After a few exchanges and the fish floats, it becomes a magnificent Shibudai! !
When I measured it, it was a 48cm tall and fat individual.
And the bait is after all
“Sea shrimp”! !

After that, I added a small Shibudai and a 50cm long Giant Grouper and finished the fishing rod.

When I got home and cleaned up the Shibudai, I found that there were sea shrimp and millet eel in its stomach.
That means...
Does that mean they're good at catching bait?
Maybe I could have caught more fish by making the hook smaller? ?
It was a fishing trip where I found some challenges.
