I went fishing with my fishing friends to Kasasa Island, located off the coast of Yanai, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

On the day of the fishing trip, it was forecast to rain from the morning and the wind would become stronger from noon.
I can't say the situation is good, but seeing my fishing friends in such good spirits, I got a little nervous and started preparing.

The topography of the rocky shore we ascended to was sandy with dots of reefs. There are sandy beaches on both sides.

This time, including practice for the tournament, we set up three fishing spots and rotated them at a fixed time.

The first fishing seat I entered was on a sandy beach.
At the start, I was particular about making long throws, but I couldn't get any response. I will change my aim to around the Shimori at the middle distance where I was hitting makie bait in reserve.

Then, the float sank sideways and I got a well-shaped black sea bream over 40 centimeters in length.
I wanted to keep fishing, but it was time to change fishing positions.

Next, I moved to the rocky shore and restarted.
The currents are changing in a complicated manner, but there was a twist of the tide at the border with the deep water.
Deciding that I had no choice but to aim for this spot, I continued to attack, and was able to catch 3 Black sea bream.

And the final fishing seat change. I had hoped to continue with this trend, but for the next two hours, none of the three of us received any response until it was time to put away our rods.

On this day, I got a lot of picks by using raw krill from the krill block, and yellow krill from the Idaten series. I cut their tails at home and prepared it so I could do fishing easily.

Spring is coming, and depending on the area, it will be a season where you can enjoy a good take of fish.
In the eastern area of Yamaguchi Prefecture, where I fished this time, the number of fish seem to increase in the spring, so please give it a try.
