For my first time fishing, I went to a rocky shore in Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture.
This time we went to the rocky shore called "Chinubae" located on the north side of Miyajima.
The terrain is shallow and sandy with dots of reef, and there are oyster rafts lined up off the coast, giving the impression that many black sea bream will settle there.

This time's combination of makie bait is designed to allow for long-distance fishing, which is essential for Miyajima, where most of the spots are shallow. Finished based on "Zudon".

First, I started aiming at the deep pockets where the color was changing, but it was a difficult situation as many pufferfish had taken off the hooks or bitten the trace.
After trying a few throws while rotating the bait on my hook, I gave up and changed my aim to the offshore.

It was flowing slowly offshore to the right, and when I let it flow with a lot of line so as not to disturb the rig, the float slowly came in.
When I winded the line and hooked the fish with some doubt, I felt the pleasant pull of the black sea bream hitting the rod.
The one that came up was an average size of 35 centimeters. I caught several fish using the same pattern.

After that, the activity decreased, or the fish disappeared. The bait continued remaining, and before I knew it, it was 30 minutes before the end of today's fishing.
As I carefully explored the terrain where there was even a slight change, I found something I hadn't seen in a while.
This is a slightly larger black sea bream. I casted my rig back as soon as I had a chance, then added another one on my next throw.
I was able to achieve my goal of 5.

This time, what had been picked often was raw krill, which maintained its original shape in the ground bait.
It is effective for targeting largescale blackfish, but it can also be expected to be effective for hunting black sea bream when their activity is low.

From now on, the water temperature will drop in Hiroshima Bay and it will be a tough season. Fishing to pick up valuable bites is also a pleasure that can only be enjoyed during the cold season.
