Fishing spot: Breakwater, Aira City, Kagoshima Prefecture

As the saying goes, ``On a spring day, it's not sunny for three days'', the sunny weather didn't last, and it rained on the weekends, so I wasn't able to go fishing as much as I wanted.
In the midst of all this, I was staring at the weather forecast and found that it was expected to be cloudy for about 4 hours. I hurriedly started preparations the night before, wondering if the cloudy mark in the morning might be a chance.

When I arrived at the fishing spot at 5am the next morning, there was no wind and the atmosphere was gloomy. The atmosphere made me think it was about to rain.
I hurried up and got ready for the first cast while feeling throbs of excitement! The tide was going down slowly. Even after I let the rig float for a while, the bait remained and there was no problem. I tried to be patient until the ground bait worked, and when I made the second throw in the same way, the mainline stretched tight. The first one was a sea bream about 27cm long. It wasn't my main target, but I was relieved to see the fish's reaction. Now, the target is a black sea bream! I regained my composure, focused on one point and threw in a lot of ground bait there. Finally, 40 minutes after the start, I caught my main black sea bream on the third cast. The size is 38cm and cute. From here on out, I was constantly getting picks, probably because the black sea bream caught by the ground bait came closer to me.

It started raining a little less than 3 hours after we started, but it looked like I can still fish. Despite the rain, there also were some black sea bream picking.
Finally, 4 hours after the start, the rain became heavy, so I decided to put my rod away.
Although I wasn't able to bring out the well-shaped ones, I played with some energetic black sea bream up to 44cm in length.

Looking back, when the fish were active, I got a good raction to the meat, and when the current was slow and the fish was less active, they were eating well on Sashiesa Pro Raw and Nama Iki-kun Pro.
I think the real thrill of fishing is preparing several types of bait and rotating them to find the one that matches the situation.
