"Kirishima City Hayato Town Kohama Beach" Sakawa

"Kirishima City Hayato Town Kohama Beach" Sakawa

November 12st

I made plans for night fishing, but had to give up again due to the swells from the typhoon.

I decided to settle for some local black sea bream fishing.

After much deliberation, I decided to cast my line at Kohama Beach in Hayato-cho, Kirishima City, which is right near the parking lot.

Having not had much luck fishing for the past few months, I started fishing at 5:30 a.m., hoping to catch a good-sized black sea bream.

We create a fishing spot by scattering about 20 scoops of the bait that we prepared beforehand.

The bait used this time is

kizamikko

The newly released "Bottom Attack White" will be the main focus, along with the black sea bream,

I mixed in Black Turbo Plus II.

Bait is

Meccha-kuu! Series Corn

Krill dumplings

Raw pupa dumplings

Ami-zuke peeled shrimp

Sashi-esa PRO L size, that I prepared.

Create the following mechanism

The rig is,

Rod No. 0

Reel No. 3000

Main line: 1.5

Float 000

Trace No. 1.5 → No. 1.25

Hook: Chinu hook No. 2 → No. 1

The fishing gear is ready, so I started fishing.

After casting my line and observing the current, I started fishing, and the water was slowly flowing to the left.

I tried rotating the bait, but although the bait was taken each time, I didn't get a single bite.

There were many pufferfish visible from my feet, and the paint on my hook was peeling off, so it was definitely pufferfish stealing the bait.

While scattering chum and shifting the chum and rig, I started catching several palm-sized sea bream in quick succession, but I gently released them and tried for the next one. However, the tide slackened and silence passed by. Even as the tide began to ebb, the water didn't move at all.

"I wonder if today will be another bad day?" The word "Suda" crosses my mind.

Since there were no bites, I changed my rig.

I changed the leader to 1.25号 and the hook to a thin-shank size 1, and just before 8 o'clock, I got the long-awaited bite!

I enjoyed the strong pull of the fish as it darted away, and then it lay on the sandy beach—a fish of a size that could be described as a black sea bream.

At least I avoided catching a bad one, and now I'm aiming for a bigger one.

A few casts later, I felt a different kind of pull—heavy and powerful—and as I closed the distance with the fish, I could see the silhouette of my target, a black sea bream. When I landed it in the net, it was a black sea bream over 40cm long.

I still had some bait left, but as more and more beachgoers started to arrive, I thoroughly washed my fishing spot and finished fishing.

This fishing trip lasted about three hours, and we were thwarted by the sheer number of pufferfish, but at least we got to see a black sea bream, so that's good enough, right?

I told myself that and left the fishing spot.

The newly released "Bottom Attack White" has good consistency, releases easily from the ladle, allows for long casts, and is very useful in Kinko Bay, where there are many shallow fishing spots.

I hope you all will
