"Black sea bream fishing at Matsubara Coast boat landing" Hanado
As the saying goes, "There are no three consecutive sunny days in spring," so I planned a fishing trip, but it rained, rained... I was finally able to go fishing on April 29th.
I went fishing at the Matsubara Coast boat landing in Aira City. Because the water is shallow, the best time to fish is a few hours before and after high tide, so on this day I tried to catch black sea bream from 5 am to 9 am.

My first hit came on the third cast, a small sea bream. The sea bream in the shallow waters put up a strong fight for their size, making for an enjoyable fight. After that, I hoped a bigger sea bream would bite, but there was silence for about 20 minutes.
As I rotated through the baits, I got a bite on the Sashie Pro. After a preliminary bite, I waited for it to run properly, and then the line snapped off my finger that was resting on the spool! It took off with great force. There's nothing quite like this moment! The black sea bream in shallow water swim sideways, running left and right, putting their whole body on the line, so the fight is more exciting than its size would suggest.

I consistently caught black sea bream, and by the time I stopped fishing at 9am, I had caught eight. I didn't reach double digits, but I enjoyed catching three different species: red sea bream, silver sea bream, and black sea bream.
I'm looking forward to seeing the black sea bream become even more active as the water temperature rises.
