Greenfish fishing at Takashima Tobishima Shore Fishing Park, Murakawa
The other day, my wife and I were supposed to participate in the Fs 1089 Thanksgiving Black Sea Bream Fishing Tournament, held at a shop owned by a senior member of our club, but due to work circumstances, we were unable to attend. So, to soothe our disappointment, my wife and I went to Tobishima Shore Fishing Park on the Nomo Peninsula.
This time, I prepared a white-colored blend of bait so that it would be easier to see where the chum was thrown.
This blend
Grezero
GreZ
Krill (one block)
Also, since we didn't know the conditions of the sea, we prepared four different types of bait.
This time's bait
Namaiki-kun for PRO
Namaiki-kun (partially boiled)
Namaiki-kun, peeled
krill in the chum
On the ferry, we heard that "someone caught both greenfish and grunt yesterday," which raised our hopes, but when we actually went fishing, all we found were bait stealers.
We'll cast plenty of chum bait right at our feet and then aim for the open sea.
White-colored blended materials are easy to identify when adding them to a rig, making them ideal for staggered deployments.
Raw krill didn't last, but peeled and partially boiled krill continued to be used.
Then, when I used Namaiki-kun for PRO, the krill started to remain, and when the tide changed slightly, a 35cm greenfish took the bait.
My wife also caught a 35cm greenfish, but the wind turned into a headwind, so we moved to a fishing spot at the very tip of the pier.
The fishing spot at the tip of the pier is a dangerous zone with many submerged reefs, so I'll switch to a lighter rig and aim for the open sea.
The fishing line suddenly ran out and I caught a 35cm black sea bream.
Today's best bait was Namaiki-kun for PRO, which is almost raw but lasts a long time, which was a great help.
Although I wasn't entirely satisfied with the type of fish I caught, it was a fun fishing trip and a great fishing date for my wife and me.
Since it would be a waste to come all the way to Iōjima and then go straight home, we stayed at Island Nagasaki's glamping site.
Drinking beer while gazing at the ocean is the best.
When I asked the staff member who was preparing our meal if they could prepare the fish we had caught that day, they kindly agreed for an additional fee.
I was surprised when they brought it to me already prepared!
It came back as a lovely serving bowl.
The greenfish prepared by a professional was incredibly delicious.
Thank you very much.
We thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs, and it was a fun two-day, one-night trip.
