"Kashima's Black Sea Bream Fishing" Kamikihara
On March 1st, the third match of my club, 3FC, was held in the Kashima area of Koshikijima, so I went to participate.
We gathered at Kushikino Port at 2:30 and departed at 3:30 after the opening ceremony.
I always think it's too early...

The boat that dropped me off at just after 6 o'clock was the Saiyama.
I threw the squid jig a little, but it ended up just being a practice swing.

I played rock-paper-scissors with fellow reefers and allocated the water.
I lost as usual, and the winner got the dock, so I had to walk quite a distance and started fishing at 7 o'clock.
I scattered the chum but couldn't see anything.

This time, I used two blocks of krill as bait, Great Grey, Nori no Chikara, and Grey Z.
For bait, I prepared krill, pickled shrimp, Namaikikun Yellow, and boiled krill, which are used as bait.
By the way, I completely forgot about my favorite candidate, Namaiiki-kun PRO.
When I started fishing, the greenfish were not very active, and I was taken by surprise by my opponent on the dock who seemed to get the main target, so I got a little anxious, but I managed to catch my long-awaited first one at 8:08 and was relieved.

From there, was I able to gradually adjust?
By the end of the first half at 10am, I had caught my limit of five fish.
Since moving around was extremely troublesome and I was catching fish from this fishing spot, I gave up on my main spot and continued fishing from the same spot without changing locations.
All that's left is to raise the shape, but this is where the magic of Koshikijima begins!
Some fish in the 35cm class came successively.

Although I caught a number of fish, I wasn't able to catch all the right size, so I ended up with only two over 40cm and 13 fish around 35cm.
My opponent had a hard time getting a bite and ended up with 6 fish.
The hit pattern on this day was the boiled krill.
About 10 out of 15 fish were caught using the boiled krill. By the way, I only caught sea chub with the yellow krill. I brought it as a test, but I wonder if the yellow krill isn't very effective for catching greenfish?

When I asked my opponent about the variations of their bait, there was no boiled krill, so I think that's the difference.
When we returned to the port and had the fish weighed, everyone had caught something, as expected.
I might not win, but I secretly had hopes that I might get a high ranking, but it was just a vague dream.
Everyone caught a fish, and the weigh-in was a lively affair. We headed home feeling, "This is what fishing on Koshikijima is all about!"
