"Cold Greenfish Fishing" Kamikihara
On February 15th, my club members and I went to Uchinoura to participate in a commemorative tournament (bring your own fish) with fellow fishing buddies.
The captain had judged the forecast the day before to be fine, but unexpectedly, the swell remained, and the offshore rocks were unusable. Unfortunately, this can happen when you're dealing with nature, so the trip was suddenly canceled. However, on the way back to port, the captain was considerate enough to allow us to fish in a safe, but usually unused, inner bay.

I wonder if the place I got a ride to has a name? I forgot to ask.
It was more than two hours after we set sail before we put out our fishing rods, but the first thing we did was diligently prepare bait.
This time I used two krill blocks, one bag each of Gre Z, Great Gure, Nori no Chikara, and GMAX middle.
The bait used was Namaikikun PRO L.

A small greenfish came to play with us from the first cast, and within about two hours of starting fishing we had caught over 10 fish, with a size of about the sole of a foot.
Just when I thought this was just how it was since it was an inland bay, the bites suddenly became less frequent, leaving me thinking "???"
The float got a preliminary bite, but then it just hovered. I couldn't get a real bite, but the Namaiki-kun PRO did a great job here!
The results showed that the larger sized greenfish were starting to stop biting.
Although I couldn't get a real bite with fresh krill, the Namaiki-kun PRO gave me a satisfying run many times.
Along the way, the water temperature dropped and there were some difficult times when even small greenfish were reluctant to bite, but thanks to the Namaiki-kun PRO, we were able to catch some good fish.
Although the fish we caught were mostly small, there is nothing to complain about if we can catch this many in an inland bay.

I think that "Namaiki-kun PRO" is the best item for cold-weather greenfish that are reluctant to bite, so if you're interested, I recommend you give it a try.
By the way, the keeper bucket was filled with a huge amount of seaweed that the greenfish had spit out.
The power of the seaweed may have been one of the reasons for the catch.
The cold season is drawing to an end.
Please enjoy fishing safely and with good manners.
