On November 30th, I went fishing at Nagahama Fishing Port in Kirishima City.

The appeal of this place is that you can enjoy catching a lot of greenfish from the embankment, and it is a proven spot where you can target well-shaped fish.

Throughout the day, large schools of palm-sized sardines (?) were swarming around the ground bait, and the challenge was to avoid these schools of bait and reach the greenfish.

After casting the bait at my feet for a while, a small greenfish will appear about 1 rod below the surface of the water.

I bring the large school of bait close to my feet, then cast the ground bait two rods out to sea and aim for the main target by casting close and far.

However, with the tide not moving, the bait fish were running energetically towards the offshore ground bait, making a lot of noise... The small greenfish were also very active, and seemed to be biting right up to the surface of the water.

During this chance time, I started catching greenfish of around 25cm. However, even if I tried to catch more greenfish in the same way, they will not get any bigger.

So I decided to try the "three-stage bait casting method" by casting the ground bait at my feet, 10m offshore, and 20m offshore. The baitfish doesn't run to the 20m offshore area. This strategy worked well, and I was able to catch greenfish up to 30cm long.

The blend material, which has excellent long-distance casting ability, flew to the target point offshore.

I was able to enjoy catching plenty of greenfish until 4:30 pm.
