January 13th: Fishing trip to Kushimoto Terashita

January 13th in Wakayama Prefecture

I went with a fishing friend on the Kashinoikehata ferry from Kushimoto.

It's the last day of the holidays, and the catches are a little off.

There were relatively few customers.

We left it to the boatman and headed to Kota Island.

I started scattering the ground bait around my feet to see what would happen, but there was no reaction from the fish, so I shifted to offshore and used the soft Namaiki-kun PRO bait, which had good hook retention, and cast it far out to catch some fish here and there on the shallow waterWe were able to see some largescale blackfish up to 38cm long.

The blended bait for the day was Bakutobi, Krill Bread.
