Kinko Bay Black Porgy Fishing Kamikihara

On April 27th, I was invited by the Kagoshima fishing club Kokurinkai to participate in their regular meeting.
This time, it was a competition over the total weight of three black porgy, using the cannonball method.
I finished checking in at Fukuyama Port at around 4:40 and decided to follow Nojiri-san and his son from the Kokurin-kai.
Arrived at the scene around 5:10.
After greeting the previous customer, I entered an empty spot.
After setting up the tackle, I started fishing at 5:40. I had already prepared the bait the day before. This time I used half a block of krill and mixed in one bag each of Sokozeme! Zudon, Chinu Enmaku, and Namasanagi Kurodai.
First cast. The float disappeared with a whoosh and I caught a 30cm long young red sea bream.
Second cast. The float disappeared with a whoosh and I caught a 35cm long frog flounder.
On the third cast, I had some bait left and on the fourth and fifth casts I caught a black porgy (lol)
I caught my limit in just 25 minutes! I guess there are days like that.
On the sixth cast, the float moved a little, but I couldn't get a real bite...
From here on, the training begins, which seems like an unbelievable experience.
After high tide at 6:27, I continued to scatter bait until 10:00 with no bait being taken at all.
The tide had dropped considerably, so I decided it would be impossible to fish if it continued like this and moved to another location.
However, I also had a hard time at Fukuyama Port.
Everyone was able to bend their rods little by little, but for a long time mine didn't make a sound.
Around 1 p.m., the rig (line) that I had left alone for about 10 minutes suddenly moved, and finally, the long-awaited size change occurred.
Weigh-in started at 2 p.m., so I decided to call it a day here.
After weighing, there was another fisherman whose fish weighed the same as mine, 3 fish weighing 2581g, but the length of one fish was only 3cm shorter, so unfortunately I came in 4th place!
Of the 19 participants, 10 were weighing their fish.
Regardless of the catch and the results, I had a really fun day talking to everyone about various things.

It's getting quite hot during the day, so please be careful to avoid heatstroke and enjoy fishing.
