Takahashi and his fellow anglers aim for a large-sized largescale blackfish

The fish are becoming less active as the water temperature drops.

On my first fishing trip of the year, I saw some largescale blackfish but the results were poor, so this time I wanted to relax and went fishing with three friends to an area where we could expect to catch some large fish.

The theme this time is to bend the rod.

Contrary to the forecast, a strong northwest wind was blowing from the morning, but as time passed the wind calmed down and the day was warm, making it a perfect day for fishing.

We arrived at the fishing spot at 6:30am, got ready quickly, and started fishing at 7:00am.

As soon as I put out the chum, a formidable enemy, the damselfish, appeared and surrounded the whole area, reacting to the chum and taking the bait away even when I cast it about 40m ahead.

Even when we passed through the layer of damselfish, there were northern pufferfish and black scraper waiting underneath, so it was also good practice in avoiding bait-eaters.

While dodging the bait-stealers, we used every trick in the book to catch a variety of fish, including largescale blackfish ranging from 25cm to 40cm and grunt over 40cm, so everyone had a catch. The two people who accompanied me also caught largescale blackfsih over 40cm, so it was a relaxing day of fun fishing.

Before we ended fishing, the time was up with a 40cm+ fish getting away.

This is an area where you can usually catch big fish of nearly 50cm and even several over 40cm, but today we had some fun catching some fish, but the size and number were poor and the activity of the largescale blackfish was not that great.

Depending on the tide, we may be able to see more of their faces.

It was fun to get away from home for a change and go fishing in an area I don't often go to.

I would like to go fishing again if I have the opportunity.
