Pier-greenfish fishing before the rainy season Hata

Friday, May 30
I went to the pier in Chuki, Wakayama Prefecture to go fishing for pier-style greenfish.

I want to go to the offshore rocks, but unfortunately the weather forecast is bad...
Since it's a forecast which changes all the time before the rainy season, and I don't like thunder, I made do with the pier so that I can respond immediately even if the weather changes suddenly.

I arrived at the fishing spot just after 5am!!
There was one other customer there ahead of me, so I said hello, kept a distance, and sat next to him.
Thank you ♪

I started fishing right away!
It's cloudy and the light makes it hard to see the float.

It's also hard to see the bait-eaters swarming around my feet.

A small mackerel was caught immediately!
It's troublesome.

At medium distance, I cast the Hirokyu Fish Attractant Great Gure to the right and left.
It comes off the ladle easily! It absorbs water well! It can be cast far away! So, it's very easy to use!

Damselfish, puffer fish, and small mackerel are rampant, and occasionally I caught fish a little over 25 cm... But when I think "Now is the chance!", the small mackerel gets in the way...

After a short break, the first and second casts were my chance to get a bite! Finally, I got one over 30cm

I caught four greenfish over 30 cm, with the help of a large school of mullet which dispersed the bait-eaters and I took a break in between.

I caught many fish between 25cm and 30cm. The fishing net was too heavy to lift, so I released many of them.

Using Hirokyu fish attractants, I was able to
enjoy fishing for sea bream from the pier before the rainy season lol
We called it a day after 1:00 p.m.
