Matsuda: Fishing for largescale blackfish While watching Sakurajima

桜島見ながらグレ釣行 松田
Location: Kinko Bay
Date and time: Sunday, December 22, 2024, 7:00-12:00
I had been planning to go fishing in Minamisatsuma for the first time in a while,Strong northwest winds were forecast, so I gave up on my plans to go fishing on the offshore rocks.
Instead, I went fishing for largescale blackfish in the bay with Sakurajima right in front of me.It was.
The ground bait for the day was "Bakutobi" and "Grezero".By blending these, I cast far and aimed for shallow depths.
In this blend, by mixing krill with a small amount of water the day before and blending them well. it will have a much better hold and will perform at its best when cast long distances.
If possible, I recommend you mix it in advance.
The location for this day was a tetrapod zone that I had never been to before, but when I reeled in the chum basket, there was a huge number of barface cardinalfish.
but, they didn't go out too far so the fishing was very comfortable.
However, when I wasn't careful, the barface cardinalfish went far away, so I always tried to fish by casting bait in front of me.
The fish have been responding well since the morning and the bait keeps disappearing, with no fish on the hook at all.
So I aimed the shallower water, shortened the line, and changed the float. Bites started coming in little by little and I started catching small-sized largescale blackfish one after another. It was.
I tried to increase the fish size somehow by changing the way I attached the raw krill. However, the reaction does not change, so I changed the bait to "pickled shrimp" or "Namaiki-kun Pro"...
Then, the biggest fish caught that day was a largescale blackfish that was over 30cm.
After that, I caught a black porgy over 45cm and the fish were always reacting and it was very fun.It was a successful catch.
The black porgy caught at this point was kept alive in a bucket with lots of seaweed. He was spitting it out.It seems that they often eat the seaweed attached to the tetrapods,Next time, I'd like to try blending "The power of seaweed" and go fishing again.
