Cold greenfish fishing Day 2 Hata

寒グレ釣行2日目 秦

Tuesday, April 2

After a fishing trip to Kushimoto, Wakayama Prefecture the previous day, I stayed overnight in Kushimoto and headed to the Urakami Hori ferry in Katsuura Town, Wakayama Prefecture for the second day of my cold greenfish fishing trip!

I wanted to go to Yokoshima, but the blast the day before was so strong that it made a shocking effect. lol

The boatman said the wind is still strong today, and refused to take me offshore...

I was given a ride to Jimiiso, which had space available.

The bait recipe for that day was exactly the same as the one used on the previous day's fishing trip to Kushimoto!

・Hirokyu's Great Gure

Commonly known as GG 2 bags

・3kg of raw krill

・2kg of akiami shrimp

・1kg breadcrumbs

I mixed two days' worth of these in Osaka!

I brought a bag of Hirokyu's Great Gure as a spare

It was forecast to be extremely cold, but it was actually quite warm.

I don't know much about the Urakami coast, so I walked around it while exploring.

The day before, I was aiming for thick-mouthed greenfish, but today, I was also aiming for long-tailed greenfish, so I started out with a thick line.

Because it's too unresponsive

The moment I reduced the trace size to 1.75!

A severe shock!!

The line tip was cut easily

But with this blow

I was worried if it's good to do so, because I had a general idea of the hit pattern, though

I changed the line to size 2.25!

Just 40cm?

Can it be cut off or not?

Got a long-tailed greenfish!!

Next, I caught a 40cm thick-mouthed greenfish!!

Without dropping the line, I gradually lightened the lead, and before I knew it, it was closing time.

There was a mixture of thick-mouthed and long-tailed, so I had a lot of fun!

Hirokyu Great Gure

You can enjoy it by itself.
