Wakayama Prefecture Fishing Federation Black Porgy Champions Cup Yamaguchi

和歌山県釣連連盟のチヌチャンピオンズカップ 山口

On March 9th, I went to participate in the Wakayama Prefectural Fishing Federation's Black porgy Champions Cup, which was held in the Mera area of Tanabe, Wakayama Prefecture.
Although there are still traces of cold-weather greenfish remaining, it is also the time when black porgy is running.
During this season, I blend the bait with the idea that the depth is deep on local rocky shores and shallow on offshore rocks.
I mixed 3kg of large krill with two bags of Hirokyu's [Sokozeme! Zudon] and two bags of [Namasanagi Kurodai] to make about 15kg of bait.
The bait I prepared was Namaikikun Pro, corn, and Nerie.
On the day, the competition was based on the total weight of six black porgy fish.
As a result of the lottery to find the right rock face, I ended up choosing a rock face that could hardly be described as either offshore or local, with the northerly wind blowing directly from the front.
The forecast was for a northwesterly wind of about 7m to start blowing from the afternoon, so I wanted to make a decision early on.
I was able to fish normally until about 11 o'clock, but after that I couldn't catch any fish.
Still, I managed to catch four black porgy and came in fourth place.

This time the conditions were tough, but the fish-attracting power of the Namasanagi Kurodai and the ability to cast long distance with the Sokozeme! Zudon were a great help.
On the offshore rocks, three people made their limit catch, which was an amazing result.
We encourage everyone to try Hirokyu's blended materials during the spring black porgy spawning season.
