Wakayama Prefecture Kushimoto Izumo Taniguchi Ferry

On January 3rd, Izumo Fishing Port was bustling with many customers going fishing for the first time.

Three people, my fishing friends and I, got on board. I left it to the boatman and went to Hachijo. Two fishing friends went out to sea.

I started fishing at the boat dock. There was a strong northwest wind that day, making it difficult to fish, but thanks to the Bakutobi, which was able to deliver the ground bait to my target point even in the headwind, I was able to see some largescale blackfish ranging from 30 to 38 cm long.

January 4th: We were assisted by Izumo Taniguchi Ferry again the other day.

Like the other day, the port was bustling with many customers.

I went to Oki-no-Nagashima Island with two of my fishing buddies, leaving it to the boatman to decide where to go. Just like the day before, the wind was strong and the tides were unstable, so we had a tough time, but we cast as far as we could and caught four fish measuring 30 to 38 cm in the shallow waters, including a tasty yellowtail bonito. Thanks to the long-distance casting power of the Bakutobi and the fish-attracting power of the Krill Bread, we were off to a good start to our first fishing trip over two days.
