Kyushu Magurekai Kokubu Branch Aichokai largescale blackfish Fishing Tournament Shinmasu

On March 2nd, the Kyushu Magurekai Kokubu Branch Fishing Club held a largescale blackfish fishing tournament at the offshore rocks of Tajiri Fishing Port and Odomari Fishing Port in Minami Osumi Town, Kimotsuki District, Kagoshima Prefecture.

The original plan was for 18 people to participate, but due to bad weather the event was postponed and only 10 people attended.
Apparently the day before, a huge 60cm-class longtail sea bream and one over 50cm were caught in the western waters, but today the wind and waves mean we can't go there.
It expanded eastward from Bilo Island.
The water temperature was dropping and the rapids were very rough.
Even so, there were people who were still managing to catch fish using Hirokyu's bait.
The results were: 1st place Yamashita Masaaki, 2nd place Kanemaru, and 3rd place Yamashita Shinnosuke.
Thank you to all the participants for your hard work.
Our dream of catching a long-tailed largescale blackfish had to be postponed until a better weather day.
