“Picking up the meat! black porgy-san who were lured in” Hanado

「ムキミをパクッ!誘いに釣られたチヌさん達」花堂

On May 26th, I went to the embankment in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture to fish for yearless black porgy.

The blended material for Chinu that we selected this time is a bag of each of three types: Bottom Attack Zudon, Chinu Smokemaku, and Mugokuro Tai, mixed with 3kg of Kizamikko.
The rig is an all-layer fishing method using floats from size 00 to size 000.

I started fishing at 6am and caught my target 35cm black porgy on my second cast. As expected, Kinko Bay is a treasure trove of black porgy, and the chum was able to attract the black porgy. Although its shape is not as good as an 50cm-over one, I am excited about the auspicious start.
4 or 5 fish were constantly biting, but after a while the picks faded away and the bait was left behind...
A fishing boat that passed in front of them and headed out to sea gave them a hint as their activity decreased.
The bait danced in the undertow created when a fishing boat passed by, which seemed to attract the black porgy, and I got a pick right after the undertow.
This gave me a hint, and when the bait has submerged near the bottom, I slowly pulled the tip of the line and waited. After repeating this several times, the tip of the line responded with a " Thump! Thump!" and the mainline was taken away. This moment is so fun.
This strategy was successful, and I was able to add 1 red sea bream and 5 black sea bream.
The krill had a well response among all baits, and when I added raw krill, the small black porgy started eating them.
Although I didn't catch the important over-50cm black porgy, I was able to enjoy catching several fish up to 43 cm.
Would you like to go fishing for black porgy as well?
