But the weather was unstable and the waves were high, so I couldn't go fishing. Finally, I was able to go fishing on a pinpoint day with good weather. I was taken care of by the "Kaiseimaru" in Makurazaki. The captain of "Akamizu" kindly told me the best spot for the shallows where I got off. The best spot for night fishing in Akamizu is the boat landing side (shore side), and the water is about 42-5m deep with a few sunken shallows, so it looks like a place where smelts are likely to migrate at night. There are fly roots, so you basically cast about 8-2.3 rods and fish here. However, this time I wanted to try edge fishing, so I moved around the shallows and looked out to sea, and it looked like a good spot. There was a water source, and I could drop my tackle straight down at a depth of about one and a half rods from my feet. I decided on my fishing spot here! The bait is a blend of frozen bait "Sliced Sardines" and "White Base Conquering Chinu", which attracts fish with its white turbidity, and also contains oyster shells and corn, which makes it very appealing. The bait is "silver-stripe round herring" and "raw Ikikun sea shrimp". Sea shrimp holds the bait better than silver-stripe round herring, so if the silver-stripe round herring is taken, use sea shrimp. If the fish are not biting well, use silver-stripe round herring. This is the rotation we will use! The rig is a Sururu rig with a float of No. 1, main line of No. 2, line of No. 6, and hook of red sea bream No. 8, with no float stopper. This time, we will focus solely on the edge. Therefore, the image is to simply cover the bait around the feet to attract the black porgy. Since we are fishing around the feet, we must be careful not to shine the light on the surface of the sea. There was a lot of bait, so there were a lot of bait-stealers. I caught some Japanese mullet, old man, and rockfish. But I also caught some Shibudai! The tide stopped around 34pm, and the bait was being taken, so I changed from silver-striped herring to sea shrimp, and then I got a strong bite from the fishing line! I enjoyed the strong pull and caught a 22cm Shibudai in the dip net! Shibudai caught on the pulse of the water at my feet is irresistible because the bite comes directly! After that, I caught six Shibudai regularly, and I ended up with six. I regret losing a big one along the way, but I'm very satisfied with the ideal fishing experience. I'm looking forward to the upcoming night fishing season.
